OLA & Château Cartier; what a classy team!
It’s with style and elegance (listen, you’ve got class or you don’t) that OLA presents Château Cartier’s all new and revamped website. The majestic hotel and conference center, a natural choice in Gatineau, offers one of the finest golf courses in Canada. We knew for sure that this mandate was a biggie.

The principal element OLA wanted to improve for the site was the ease and simplicity of booking a room. A major point when it comes to a hotel. Now, you can’t miss the big blue booking window even if you try! It appears on every single pages.
The sleek and modern design is also more in parallel with this great business’s philosophy.
The only thing left for us to do is to change our dirty flip-flops for a pair of soft cleats.

Brain Freeze- OLA works with Slush Puppie
What’s a dream job? Don’t bother overthinking this one; I have the answer for you. A dream job is a studio that decides to replace its water cooler by a slush machine. That’s all.
Thanks to our friends at Kaboom agency, OLA did exactly that. And from this collaboration with Kaboom, we also gained the incredible opportunity to work on Slush Puppie’s new website. Now, that’s some project!
Sugar overdose with a touch of diabetes in a somewhat hyper atmosphere, everything in the studio is smooth sailing. It’s not even noon yet and Charles is already sipping on his 8th slush today. Yep, everything is A-Okay. Pineapple and mango, anyone?

Happy Birthday To Us!
Yesterday was OLA’s birthday. We didn’t mention it because… well, you know… didn’t want to bother anyone with that… and… we were kind of hoping that… huh… you would… you would remember. BUT YOU DID NOT. Indeed, our interactive studio turned the big 1-0! A decade of inspiration. A decade of laughs. A decade of friendships. A decade of passion. A decade of evolution.
Time sure flies when you’re having a blast. We’d like to thank all of you for being part of this unique journey. Let’s just pretend we received your warm wishes and move on. No hard feelings.
But seriously, thanks a million. Your support is amazing. OLA is truly looking forward to the next 10 years.

OLA appears in Smashing Magazine once more!

Oops, we did it again! Not to brag (…right) but we seem to be on a roll, lately.
Smashing Magazine is one of the world’s top blogs and is entirely devoted to software applications and web-based tools. The honor we feel to be mentioned on their site is too great for words… but let me try this: HOLY S**T!!!
This time, thanks to the work we did for Atom Bicycles, we ranked among 35 beautiful e-commerce websites. They described our effort as:
A very simple, clean and stylish design with unusual navigation and good-looking product pages.
We absolutely agree. But to hear it from them is a major pat on the back.
We hope your Monday is as good as ours.

OLA is lucky number 7: Creative Agency Awards 09
Well, as you’ve probably heard by now, OLA is the greatest thing since white whole wheat sliced bread. But you’re a skeptic, we accept that, and you still need some convincing. Ok then. Go ahead and guess who just got rated number 7 as world’s most creative agency by the Creative Agency Awards 09? Need a hint? You’re reading their blog at this exact moment. How coincidental?
Number 7 in the world (aka the universe). “OMFG!” you scream. I know! We said the same thing.
The ranking is based on creative prestige both in the web and print design. It’s such an honor for us to be recognized among people we admire a great deal and draw inspiration from. This truly means a whole lot.
The amazing book should hit the stores soon.

It’s 2010 and OLA is playing hard!
Remember back in high school when you’d spend your lunch break playing Ping Pong in a hidden corner because going near the cool peeps table meant getting your sandwich thrown back in your face? Well lunch time at OLA is exactly like that… minus the cool peeps.
Our latest acquisition: a portable table tennis kit! With the Olympics fast approaching, we’ve got a little training to do.
Oh and beware of Jee’s smash; it would make Federer run for his mommy.
