Blue Madness / Funky Fall Collection

We’ve just wrapped up a really colorful and cool photoshoot, here at OLA!

Our client Blue Madness has launched it’s funky fall collection and we got the chance to see it before everyone else. Nani nani boo boo.

Latest Launch: Calypso Theme Waterpark!!

Our excitement level about this one is about as big as the project itself! We are extremely honored to have worked on this wonderful adventure; Calypso will be the largest Theme Waterpark in Canada when it opens on June 7 2010 and we got to design an amazing, interactive website. A whole lot of fun… and even more to come!

New Launch: MPLA / woodwork design

Menuiserie Pierre Lechantre Architectural Inc. has been specialized in architectural woodwork design for over 20 years. So obviously, they are very well established and the company offers serious and professional services.

The website that we’ve created reflects those qualities and displays an ultramodern look in contrast with the warm texture of wood. Clean and simple, the site is extremely easy to use and we are thrilled with the result.

OLA is going back to school!

Ok, not really. But we’re sure happy to give a hand in making back-to-school a little less painful and to celebrate the great success of one of our dearest projects, the Best Tools for Schools website. It’s so rewarding to see that our work is being recognized as a valuable instrument for swamped parents. We took great pride in designing a user friendly site, easy for everyone to use and fun to surf. Our efforts are sure paying off!

The busy period has arrived for our clients at Best Tools for Schools, a small company that shops for and packages school kits so that parents can hold on to their sanity.

The work relationship that we have developed with Candace Derickx and Laurie St-Julien, the two geniuses behind this innovative concept has quickly transformed into a strong friendship and we’re looking forward to teaming up again in the future.

Last Friday, the Ottawa Citizen published an interesting article about the two amazing founders of Best Tools for Schools and the website that we created for this original cause was mentioned. Cool, huh?

Smashing Magazine talks about… OLA!!!

The freaking awesome Smashing Magazine (always there to smash readers with the coolest stuff) has an article out today about 30 Fresh and Inspirational Portfolios With A Twist. And guess who’s on top of their list? Yeah, baby! We are!

Straddling the fence that separates advertising and entertainment, Fuel Industries succeeds in developing online games and unique web marketing programs for the biggest brands in the world.
This means exciting times for OLA. It also means bigger projects, more motion design, sharpening our focus on interactivity and entertainment and a greater potential for worldwide contracts.

Thanks to this opportunity, OLA will fly higher than ever and will reach new heights.

New Launch: Sport Switches.

This website’s subject is unusually specific (it’s a gadget that one can only install on a certain model of basketball coach whistle… doesn’t get much more specific than that…) but the reason that we hold this project dearly close to our hearts is that this is our first Californian job. We gave the website a “sporty” contemporary look with a hint of grunge and stand convinced that it will talk to the targeted audience.

The first and surely not the last.
